Fairmont Hotels and Resorts on the Top 100 Companies to Work for in Canada Again...

Ahhh, the Royal York Hotel in Toronto, at one time the LARGEST building in the entire British Commonwealth.  The Chateau Frontenac in Quebec, a world heritage site, the Banff Springs, Chateau Laurier...all wonders of modern comfort.  What you might not have known is that they're also some of the BEST PLACES TO WORK in North America!

For the 2nd year in a row our friends at Fairmont have earned a place on the Canada's Top 100 Companies to Work For list.  They have also participated in our survey, confiding in David what they look for in a resume submitted to them...what it takes to catch the attention of a Fairmont recruiter!

Established in 1907, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is North America's largest operator of luxury hotels and resorts. Established in 1887 as Canadian Pacific Hotels, the company has 56 properties worldwide (including 20 in Canada) with plans to develop 20 additional properties in the years ahead. Fairmont Hotels' collection of landmark hotels and resorts are located across Canada, the United States, Mexico, Bermuda, Barbados, the United Arab Emirates and Kenya.

Congratulations to Fairmont for another well-deserved award!

LOL...I used to work for Fairmont. It was AWESOME. Leaving there was a mistake. It was VERY VERY hard to get in there, and many of my friends were turned down. There ARE special things that recruiters like to see on a resume!
